DJ International Records Launches Its Official Radio Show on Crop Of Music Radio

The legendary Chicago house label begins a new monthly global broadcast, bringing its iconic legacy, legendary artists, and the future of house music to audiences worldwide.

Crop Of Music Radio is proud to welcome the DJ International Records Radio Show to its growing lineup of internationally recognized programming, marking the beginning of an exciting collaboration between one of Ibiza’s emerging electronic music broadcasters and one of the most influential record labels in dance music history.

Founded in Chicago by Rocky Jones, DJ International Records is universally recognized as the label that helped introduce house music to the world. Throughout the 1980s, the label became home to some of the genre’s most iconic releases and artists, playing a pivotal role in defining the Chicago house sound, pioneering the hip-house movement, and influencing generations of producers, DJs, and club culture across the globe. Today, under the continued leadership of Rocky Jones, DJ International Records remains independent, preserving its rich heritage while actively investing in new artists and the future of house music.

Speaking about the new project, Rocky Jones describes the program as “the ultimate show for DJs, by DJs,” a philosophy that perfectly reflects both the history of the label and its ongoing commitment to the international DJ community.

Premiering on Saturday, July 18th, at 11:00 pm (CEST), the DJ International Records Radio Show will become a monthly appointment on Crop Of Music Radio. Each exclusive premiere will be followed by weekly encore broadcasts throughout the month, allowing listeners from around the world multiple opportunities to experience every episode.

Each 60-minute show will feature carefully selected guest DJs from the DJ International family, combining timeless Chicago house classics, exclusive selections, new productions, and the unique musical vision of each featured artist. The series is designed not only to celebrate the label’s extraordinary legacy but also to showcase the next generation of talent carrying the DJ International name into the future.

The inaugural episode will feature legendary vocalist and DJ Robert Owens, one of house music’s most respected and influential voices. Fresh from an extensive tour across Europe and the Americas, Owens will also celebrate the release of his new single, “Special,” produced alongside Steb and released on DJ International Records. The track has already gained strong support throughout this summer’s European festival circuit and will also be featured on the upcoming Jackmaster 9 compilation, continuing the label’s tradition of presenting both timeless and forward-thinking house music.

Beyond the monthly broadcasts, each episode will also become part of DJ International’s digital ecosystem, with releases on YouTube and SoundCloud following the exclusive radio premiere, accompanied by artist features, tracklists, and editorial content that further explores the stories behind the music and the people shaping the culture.
